The webcomic Gunnerkrigg Court (gunnerkrigg.com) is nearing its finale. It's been running since 2005 and it's A+ incredible. If you've never read it I'm jealous cuz you can just binge all 3000+ pages then be around for the last couple chapters as they upload in real time.

Now that I think about it, I have every right to also binge the archive even though I've already read it.

What makes smelling so compelling for dogs? Is there some kind of scent-based narrative they build up in their head? If humans had evolved with a similarly-keen sensitivity to smell, would we have built tv but for noses? It's a tragedy of the modern age that we'll never know for sure
